ALPHA dogs can be adopted from the sanctuary or off-site at PetsMart or Petco on scheduled adoption days. Check our calendar for dates and times or call 661-391-8212 for information. ALPHA dogs are spayed or neutered, have a 7 in 1 and a rabies shot and are microchipped. The microchip number is registered at no additional cost. The adoption fee is $95. A full refund is given if the dog must be returned within two weeks. Any dog adopted from ALPHA can be returned anytime during its lifetime.
Dogs can be adopted from the sanctuary Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
She was on the streets of Bakersfield for six months and had a litter of puppies but then got lucky and was brought to ALPHA Canine Sanctuary. Scarlet is a sweet, enthusiastic dog who needs a human who will interact with her – she needs to be a member of the family.
